Your specialist teams are the Experts at Hand, and Belong is where their universal and targeted expertise goes, so that it reaches every school rather than one referral at a time.
They write the recommendations
Under each expectation sit the best practice recommendations, written by your teams in your council's voice. They curate the resources too, so schools get evidence informed strategies.
They send a link instead of a report
A SENCO rings about a child who cannot regulate. The team can send a link to the emotional regulation page, and easily discuss the the approaches and the interventions to support the child. Nobody needs to write a new document.
They keep it current
A new piece of evidence, a research review, a programme someone has tested. It goes into the directory the week it appears, because the teams edit the directory themselves. Nothing waits for the next print run of the OAP PDF.
They support audits when asked
A SENCO can invite an expert in to support an audit. Belong is not surveillance. It is a shared language and a support framework, and the council sees only what schools choose to share.
