The action plan
The action plan comes straight out of the audit. The strengths and areas for development from every focus area are gathered on one page, and then the SENCO and senior team set the priorities, each with its milestones. You can print the full plan to take to governors, or for review meetings.
Priorities
Each priority says
- why it matters
- what you need to do
- what it will involve
- who will be involved
- how you will know it has made a difference.
Milestones
Each priority breaks down into milestones, and each milestone has
- a name
- its stakeholders
- the next steps
- a RAG rating
Make sure you deliver priorities with a clear plan.
Print one priority for the people working on it, or the full plan for governors. When the next audit comes round, last year's milestones are your evidence.
