A real calendar, with standing support groups listed as standing entries, and every venue carrying its accessibility notes. Step free, parking, quiet room, whether children are welcome. Past webinars kept as a library.
Accessible and in your community's languages
WCAG 2.2 AA, tested, with a real accessibility statement. A short "what we do and how to reach us" in the languages spoken locally, on video where that helps. Fast on a cheap phone on 4G, because that is what many families have.
A site a volunteer can keep alive
Structured content types for events, news, guidance and your team, so nobody touches code. Every page carries a last reviewed date. Domain, SSL and uptime monitored, backups offsite, newsletter and privacy-respecting analytics built in. The sites that decay are the ones nobody can update. This one, you can.

Chorus uses the same open source platform and the same plain English and accessibility standards as Placid, the SEND local offer platform. Where your local offer is the council's account of its own provision, your Chorus site is the insider's version, candid about how things actually work and leading with rights. The two link to each other, and neither has to re-key the other's directory.
Forums are funded to co-produce and scrutinise the local offer. A site built to do that well is the best tool you can have for the job.
