Calderdale

Live as Mainstream Inclusion Calderdale (opens in a new tab). Two years from nothing to a relaunched review with school leaders.

"Two years ago, Mainstream Inclusion Calderdale didn't even exist. We've relaunched our improved SEND audit tool with school leaders, helping them to recognise and celebrate all the brilliant work already happening in their schools, while identifying priorities and planning those next steps."
Laura Humble, Calderdale Council
"Inclusion is the journey, never the destination."
Jenny Scott, Calderdale

The Change Programme

We built Belong on the DfE Change Programme. Over 600 people co-produced the guidance, from schools, health, SEND teams, parent carers, and children and young people. Over 500 SENCOs and headteachers came to the launches.

What people say

"I can share a link with my SENCOs, and they've got specific interventions and resources."
Educational psychologist, Leeds
"Provision grids are good, but then they're static, aren't they?"
