What Monday looks like

• You edit the page yourself. You pick the page type, fill in the fields, press save. No ticket, no waiting for the web team.
• Every page is a type made for its job. A guide that reads in order. A step by step with one thing per page. A publication with its own listing. An event with a date that expires.
• One directory, one edit. A service changes its phone number. You change it once. Every page that lists it, on every site that shares the directory, is right that afternoon.
• Check it before you publish. Paste a page, or its address, into Dawn and it marks the words families will trip over, the sentences doing too much, and the page that should really be a guide. Free, in your browser, nothing sent anywhere. It is how we write, and it is yours to use on any page, on any site.
• Feedback lands with you. There is a feedback button on every page. What comes in is yours to answer, and the You said, we did page is where you show you did.
• The numbers are yours too. Plausible analytics on your own site, not the corporate one. Which pages families read, where they came from, which schools sent them. It is the evidence for the annual report and the inspection, and it is a link, not a request to someone else.

What you get from us

• Training for you and whoever else edits, until you are comfortable.
• Office hours every week for as long as you are with us. Bring anything. A page that will not do what you want, a co-production session you are planning, a question about analytics. Tuesdays at ten.
• Your content moved properly, if you want it. We plan the site map with you and rewrite what needs rewriting, rather than pasting the old site into the new one.

What it is built on

LocalGov Drupal, the open source platform made by councils for councils and used by more than 75 of them. Your council owns the site and everything in it. If you ever change supplier, it comes with you.
