Using Word and PDF documents
First, think about why you are putting information in a document, and not directly on the Local Offer pages. Is there a compelling reason that the information should be hidden?
I'm not being melodramatic here. Putting your information in HTML in the Local Offer pages means that it can be found, read and understood by everyone.
It is possible to make Word and PDF documents accessible, but it's hard.
Just putting your information leaflets online is not acceptable.
Events
I would argue that a flyer to advertise an event could be a pdf, because it's going to be printed out and put up on the wall. But the information about the event, and the way of signing up, MUST be in a webpage.
Application Forms
If your application forms (for an EHC Plan, for example) have to be printed, you should think hard about moving them online.
