Be consistent: do not switch things round

When you've made it clear who's who, stick with that. Do not be tempted to suddenly change from talking to the user as "you" and then labelling a tool, app or transaction with "my" to mean the user.

If the user is established "you", use:

"Your application" not "my application" on a form or button.

"My shortlist" could also be confusing. When you click on the "My Shortlist" button on one Local Offer you get this information:

As you browse around this website you can build up your own personal shortlist of services and activities to display here. Using shortlists is a bit like using the shopping basket function on online shopping sites.

The user is "you" but the button says "my". Why not clarify things? Just label the buttons "Shortlist" and "Add to shortlist".

📝 Take a look at the buttons on your Local Offer and see if they are consistent with your use of pronouns. Put some examples in the discussion.
