Sound quality

Sound quality is even more important than with video conferencing. Many people have hearing difficulties such as tinnitus, so listening to poor quality sound is very hard.

Who’s speaking?

Deaf people often struggle to distinguish between voices, so highlight who is speaking, especially if there are more than 2 people talking.

Always post a full transcript of the podcast. This allows everyone to access the information in their own way. It also allows people to quickly find the specific item they are looking for.
