For councils delivering their Local SEND Reform Plan

Belong Universal SEND support, created from your own existing documents

Every council has an Ordinarily Available provision / Graduated Approach that says what every school should do before it asks for more help.

Every SEND Reform Plan talks about an update to these docs, and a school SEND Audit.

Belong will support both of these. By tuning your OAP docs into a website your SENCOs and teachers can use it day to day. Your own specialist teams and Experts at Hand, keep it up to date. Each school runs an audit against it and writes their action plan with priorities and milestones.

A single, shared language for schools, specialist teams and the council.

We developed Belong with Leeds and Calderdale through the Department for Education (DfE) Change Programme. It is live in Leeds as Inclusive Mainstream Practice (opens in a new tab) and in Calderdale as Mainstream Inclusion Calderdale (opens in a new tab).
